At MFM, clear and effective communication is essential to keeping our team connected and informed. With the launch of Employee Central, we’re streamlining how companywide messages are shared to reduce inbox clutter and ensure everyone gets the information they need. Here’s a quick guide to help you navigate our updated communication process.
1. High-Priority Communications
These are urgent messages requiring immediate attention that impact all employees.
Examples:
System outages (Athena, VotaCall, Internet)
Security incidents
Critical operational updates
Where It Goes:
Companywide Email: To ensure visibility.
Instant Messaging (IM): As a backup for rapid response.
Why? These communications are crucial to business operations and must be disseminated quickly and effectively.
2. Medium-Priority Communications
Important updates that are relevant to a broad audience but don’t require immediate action.
Examples:
Policy changes
Company events
Training opportunities
Where It Goes:
Employee Central: The primary hub for these updates.
Companywide Email: Used sparingly for major announcements or reminders during the rollout phase.
3. Low-Priority Communications
Day-to-day updates that are useful for operations but don’t require office-wide attention.
Examples:
PTO, callouts, or schedule changes
Weekly office or department updates
Where It Goes:
Employee Central: Use the Hot Sheet for daily updates and the blog for department announcements.
